70% Chardonnay, 30% Viognier.
This dry fruity white with a very slight hint of resin has becoming a favorite of all who try it. The Chardonnay gives it a crisp acidity and citrusy notes, but itís the
Viognier that makes it stand up, giving it that weighty mouth feel most
loved about Viognier. Baked apricot and mango, big, forward, ripe
fruit make this wine pack a flavor punch with a lingering finish. Some say the Viognier
has absorbed by osmosis a faint hint of the pine trees
that surround the vineyards. A delightful
change from the everyday taste of 100% Chardonney or
Sauvignon Blanc. Terrific with Fish, but great with
anything that doesn't call for a full Heavy Red.
This grapes are harvested at night to enhance peak
characteristics of the fruit. Clear color, pale yellow
with glints of green. Intense nose, very fruity
(apricot, etc.) and hints of licorice. Supple and
well-balanced palate with a nice persistent flavor.
