Ths is the 2nd wine of Chateau Seguin, the famous Pessac Leognan. 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Merlot. The 2016 vintage was a surprisingly great year. Coming on the heels of the fantastic 2015 wine, this matches up to it's equal. 2016 was as superb vintage.
Merlot, the dominant variety, provides finesse and roundness typical
of grapes grown on Villafranchian gravel. Cabernet Sauvignon contributes
menthol nuances on the palate and elegance on the finish.
Angelot de Seguin goes particularly well with barbecued red meats.
