I enjoyed a bottle of BARONNE GUICHARD DELICE DU PRIEURE SAINT EMILLION GRAND CRU 2009 BORDEAUX recently at my favorite St. Thomas restaurant with a friend and mutual lover of Red Bordeaux. He, I and the restaurant owner (one of the few truly knowledgeable wine people on island) who shared a glass, were all blown away by this powerful, but subtle wine. It's a HUGE Red.
Just in is our New Eau de Vie selection added under "Argmanacs, Spirits and Misc" The Raspberry (Framboise) has such a beautiful fragrance, you can almost wear it as perfume...We also have Poire Williams, and Plum Eau de Vie, as well as a Tres Vieille Fine de Bourgogne, a grape distilled type of brandy. (Included in this group is the most fabulous Creme de Cassis) These are all very special.

2009 Bordeaux wines have arrived. A Superb vintage, possibly better than 2005! It is drinkable now and will age beautifully. The 2005s had to wait a few years before it was good to drink young. Baronne Guichard Chateau SIAURAC LELAND DE POMEROL 09, Baronne Guichard PLAISIR DE SIAURAC 2009 LALANDE DE POMEROL, a 100% Merlot, the second Label of SIAURAC at under $20 is a great bargain. DELICE DU PRIEURE - Saint Emillion Grand Cru 2009, CHATEAU ROCHER CORBIN Montagne Saint Emillion 2009. An old standby that has not been in our istings since the 2003 vintage, TOUR DE BIOT 2009 Bordeaux rouge is back in. The second label of Chateau L'Argenteyre, PARTAGE DE L'ARGENTEYRE MEDOC 2009, and a new wine I was offered at a small wine dinner in Paris last summer, Chateau de Macard, a Bordeaux Superieur 2009
one of the rare wines we import that was rated by Wine Spectator. (It got a well deserved 90 points)The Macard is worth twice the price of $17.84

NEW BURGUNDIES ARE IN ! Our Wonderful Red and White Burgundies are in! The new arrivals have rested and are now ready to drink. In the White Burgundy listings we have found some of the best Burgundy has to offer; Puligny Montrachet, Chassagne Montrachet, and the superb Queen of white Burgundies: Mersault. -- In Red Burgundy We have added GEVREY-CHAMBERTIN DOMAINE TRAPET 2007 an organic wine, NUITS SAINT GEORGES "LES ALLOTS" from DOMAINE REMORIQUET 07, and HAUTES COTES DE NUIT "LES DAMES HUGUETTES" DOMAINE MONGEARD-MUGNERET 2009. These Reds are all the finest. Believe me when I say that I tasted 10 Burgundy wines for every one chosen.
Another addition is DOMAINE DES PERELLES Beaujolais from Jean-Yves Larochette, a very small winemaking family that has been cultivating Chardonnay & Gamay grapes and making small batch wines in the traditional methods for generations. This is one of my most pleasant discoveries of my 2010 Summer search for great new Burgundies. We are selling his Beaujolais Villages Red & White, Pouilly Fuisse, Macon and a fabulous Rose at very reasonable prices for such fine wines. This winemaker is a magician! He Also produces a delicious sparkling wine: "CREMANT DE BOURGOGNE" selling for just over $17!
If you are a Red Bordeaux Lover, this is your moment! We have managed to obtain a small quantity of CHATEAU SIAURAC-LALANDE DE POMEROL 2005 which is one of the best Bordeaux years in decades. Only half bottles left for only $16.90 ! CHATEAU BEGADANET MEDOC AOC 2003 is new to our collection, and a great wine for under $20. Newly added is Chateau COQUILLAS. Pessac Leognan 2007 which is the 2nd label of Chateau de France, one of our more popular premium Bordeaux wines.
CHATEAUNEUF DU PAPE, DOMAINE DE LA JAUFTETTE 2001 is
listed under REDS- Southern Rhone. This is the first Chateauneuf I found at a reasonable price that truely represents this great wine. A younger Chateau
Neuf du Pape just brought in is CHATEAUNEUF DU PAPE AOC DOMAINE DE LA PINEDE 2009. Great values are to be had with some lesser known Southern Rhones such as
COTES-DU-VENTOUX a great wine in the Cotes du Rhone, Chateauneuf style at a surprisingly pleasant price.
The Astoundingly Delicious ARAMIS Red that sold out at the Pistarckle wine tasting and several other times is back in stock at the same price we have been selling it for since 2008: $9.34, a FANTASTIC Value! There are many new wines as well. I think the Red wine lovers among you will especially appreciate the addition of Madiran Laplace, the 2nd label of Chateau d'Aydie Madiran, makers of ARAMIS. Madiran Laplace is a Madiran blend that will sell for $14.60, a sweet price for a terrific wine. I had a bottle of the Chateau d'Aydie 2006 the other night, and it was SUMPTIOUS. After having rested in our warehouse for few months, it has matured magnificently. This will keep for many more years, but it's ready to drink and savor now.
Recently released from my Private Cellar are 3 Burgundies that have been held to mature a bit more (and for myself). These wines are now available in limited quantities. Check under the Burgundy listings on the RED Tab above to have complete information on two Aloxe Cortons, both 1999 Vintage that are just perfect now and one Santaney 1999. These are the top of the French Burgundy Pinot Noirs.
We have added one of my favorite wines to our "stable": Wines of CAHORS also in Soutwestern France. Cahors is the region that originated the famous Malbec grape that is now the standard of Argentinean and Chilean wines. But these Cahors wines are from vines that are sometimes hundreds of years old and grown by the same winemaking families who made wine for Pope John XXII Who was born in Cahors, and ruled the Catholic Church from 1316 to 1334. These great Cahors wines - often called "black" wines for their depth of color, are the wines I have been drinking in Southwest France long before I started a wine business and it's time to share these wonderful little known wines with you. We have two great Cahors from Pascal Verhaeghe,
one of the premier winemakers of the region. While not cheap, ($19.92 and $45.40) these wines are a must for Red wine lovers to try.
One of my favorites, CHATEAU LABEGORCE MARGAUX 2005 has been selected to be included in Wine Enthusiast Magazine Top 20 Wines of 2008. You'll find
it listed under the "RED" tab above, under "BORDEAUX". LA BEGORCE ZEDE, the top
wine of this Chateau is now also available. Only a few bottles remain of this vintage.
Our great new " Sleeper" winemaker; DOMAINE DE COUSSERGUES, a small family owned winemaker in the Pays d'Oc of Southern France are producing consistently high quality through all recent vintages, proving the skills of expert winemakers. You will find all DOMAINE DE COUSSERGUES selling for less than $10.00. These wines are listed under the Red or White tabs listings of Pays d'Oc. We have created a sample box (ZPK-008 listed under Wine Sample Boxes) of this winemakers red and white selection. We have also added a value asortment of regional wines priced under $60 for the 6 bottle selection that will fill the budget minded wine lovers needs- ZPK-009. This is a great way to try these new wines.
PINOT NOIR is hot these days. You will find two vintages of GEORGES BLANC PINOT NOIR (2005 and 2006) selling for under $20. Domaine de Coussergues Pinot Noir is less than $10 and then, of course, the great higher end Burgundy Reds that show Pinot Noir at the top of their form.
One of our best selling white wines, ARTON Les Hauts d'Arton, a crisp dry blend
sells for just $9.62. ARTON produces some of the best ARGMANACS to be found, Argmanac, like Cognacs, is distilled from grapes, but in my opinion is a smoother, purer much better after dinner drink. Regular bottles and Magnums in gift boxes are available.
The list of Roses continues to grow - there are now 5 different Roses you can choose from, as well as PANNIER'S great Rose Champagne. For those who would like to try an assortment of Roses, we have a well priced Sample Box made up for your
experimentation. WONDERFUL HOT WEATHER AND OUT ON YOUR BOAT WINES!
CHAMPAGNE---The discovery of Champagnes Pierre Boever is high on my list of great recent accomplishments. A small producer of "Grand Cru" Champagne, it is a rare find indeed. We have enlarged our selection of Champagne PANNIER to include Magnums and Splits. Pannier rates consistently high on blind tastings, and rated a 91 on Wine Spectator November 2011 Listings. This is a great Champagne at a reasonable price. Champagne Pannier was served at the NOBEL PEACE PRIZE CONCERT in December 2009 & is
proudly served to all first class passengers on Eurostar (Euro-Tunnel) trains.
Don't forget to use the "SEARCH" bar. It's a great tool if you
are looking for something specific such as "chardonnay". Give it a try when you are searching for a hard to find wine.
We have some fabulous Bordeaux such as the famous Chateau Siaurac, Lalande de Pomerol, a pure delight, available in full, half & Magnum bottles. The Chateau Labegorce Margaux in the 2005 Vintage, Chateau Vray Croix de Gay in both 2004 and 2000 vintages.
The Wines of one of the world's most famouos chefs: Georges Blanc, have been added to our selection. Look for his delicious well priced wines in Pays d'Oc red & white selections.

All of our wines are from small family owned and operated vineyards. I have personally chosen each and every one of these wines, (it was hard work, but somebody had to do it...) and I honestly think better French wines at better values are not to be had in the islands.
